If your business is running Adwords search campaigns then Display Advertising, otherwise known as Re-marketing, should be number two on your to do list. Display Advertising allows you to share targeted ads in front of a defined audience that has previously visited your website, landing page or clicked your ads as they browse a range of external websites.
When a user visits your website (or clicks your Adwords) they are “cookied” or tagged. This cookie triggers your ads to follow that user around the web, whether that be on a social media site or on various websites across the internet. So when you're browsing online and see a banner ad for that new weekend outfit you were looking at earlier, it's no coincidence and your phone isn't "listening to you" - that's Re-marketing at it's finest and it genuinely works.
