What your team would pay

Move the numbers to match your team. It works out the monthly and yearly cost of the Team plan from Anthropic's Australian prices, with or without GST.

Per monthA$0
Per yearA$0
Per person, monthlyA$0

This is the Team plan. Enterprise is priced in US dollars per seat plus usage at API rates, so its cost depends on how much your team uses it.

Working out which plan fits your team?

The seat price is the easy part. The settings take longer.

Team or Enterprise?

Team covers most Australian businesses up to 150 people. You get shared billing, an admin console, and Claude Code on every seat. Enterprise is for 20 seats or more when you need tighter controls, such as audit logs, automatic user provisioning and custom data retention, plus contract terms your security team will ask about.

The seat prices are close, so the real difference is usage. On Enterprise you pay for what people use at API rates, which can be cheaper for light users and dearer for heavy ones. If your team is under about 40 people and nobody in security is asking for audit logs, start on Team.

What the API costs

If you build Claude into your own systems, like summarising calls into HubSpot or drafting quotes, you pay by the token rather than by the seat. A token is roughly three quarters of a word. Prices are per million tokens:

ModelInput, US$Output, US$Input, about A$Output, about A$
Haiku 5.5$0.10$0.50$0.14$0.71
Sonnet 5.5$2$10$2.84$14.20
Opus 5.5$4$20$5.68$28.40
Fable 5.1$10$50$14.20$71

In practice that is small per job. Summarising a 2,000-word call note into a HubSpot record is about 3,000 tokens in and 500 out. On Sonnet 5.5 that costs about US$0.011, or under two Australian cents. Run it on 1,000 calls a month and you are paying around A$16. Haiku does simpler jobs for a fraction of that.

What changes the bill

  • Plans are local, Enterprise and the API are not. Pro, Max, Ultra and Team show Australian prices with GST included. Enterprise seats and all API use are priced in US dollars, so the exchange rate moves those.
  • Yearly is cheaper. A standard Team seat is A$34 billed yearly against A$43 monthly, about a fifth less.
  • Premium seats add up fast. One premium seat costs the same as five standard seats. Give them only to the people who hit their limits.
  • Keeping API processing in the US costs 10% more. Anthropic charges 1.1x for US-only inference. The default global setting is standard price.
  • Batch jobs cost half. If an API job can wait, like an overnight data clean-up, the Batch API halves the price.
