A Diamond HubSpot partner that builds what it scopes.

Neighbourhood is a HubSpot Diamond Partner in Teneriffe, Brisbane, and Australia’s #1 Diamond HubSpot partner: 17 HubSpot Impact Awards, more than any other Diamond partner in Australia. We have been a HubSpot partner since 2015 and Diamond since 2019. The person who scopes your portal builds it, on AEST, for teams across Australia and New Zealand.

This page is the version of the conversation we have on a first call. What a partner does, what the tiers mean, when you do not need one, what it costs in Australian dollars, the questions that sort good partners from bad ones, and why clients who have already been through one or two partners end up here.

What does a HubSpot partner do?

A HubSpot partner is an agency or consultancy that HubSpot has certified to sell, set up and support its software. HubSpot sells you the licence and fixes the product when it breaks. The partner turns that licence into the system your team opens every morning: the pipelines, the fields, the automation, the reports and the training.

Most of our projects are two or three of these at once:

  • Implementation and onboarding. Setting a portal up around how you sell, the first time. See HubSpot implementation and onboarding.
  • CRM selection and migration. Working out whether HubSpot suits you, then moving your records across without bringing the old problems with them. See CRM implementation.
  • RevOps. The data model, pipelines and reporting your leadership team runs meetings from. See RevOps and HubSpot.
  • Integrations. Connecting HubSpot to Xero, NetSuite, Salesforce, a booking system or an industry platform, with every field mapped before anything syncs.
  • Training. Run by certified HubSpot trainers on our team, with the people who will use the portal.
  • Support after go live. A named person who already knows your portal. See HubSpot support.

Two things a partner does not do. It does not bill your licence: HubSpot does that, at the prices on HubSpot’s pricing page. And it cannot fix a bug in HubSpot’s own product. That goes to HubSpot support, which comes with every paid plan.

Do you need a HubSpot partner at all?

Not always. There are four ways to get HubSpot running, and the cheapest one is the right one for plenty of businesses.

All prices in AUD and before the HubSpot licence. HubSpot publishes its onboarding fees in US dollars on its onboarding services page (US$1,500, US$3,000 and US$7,000); the AUD figures are approximate conversions. Last checked October 2026.

What makes a HubSpot partner worth hiring?

Every partner in the directory can set up a pipeline. What separates them is who does the work, what they build first, and whether they will talk you out of something. Ours, in that order:

1. The person who scopes it builds it

Your PM is your builder. The person on the scoping call is the person inside your portal in week three, and the person running your training at the end. There is no handoff from a salesperson to a delivery team who has only read the notes. Handoffs are where scope drifts: a detail mentioned on a call never makes it into the brief, and you find out at go live.

2. We fix the basics before adding tools

Clean data, simple pipelines and dashboards people trust come first. Lead scoring, AI agents and attribution reporting wait until the records under them are right, because a score on dirty data only sorts the noise faster.

At Gro Clinics the job was a broken booking integration creating up to 270 deals a week, many of them duplicates. We replaced it before building anything new. Deals created settled at 140 a week, conversion went from 36% to 52%, and the average time to close fell from 138 days to 3. At Chief Executive Women, thousands of duplicate contacts were merged and the leftover Salesforce properties removed before a single renewal email was automated.

3. We will tell you no

When something is not worth building, or HubSpot is not the right fit, you hear it before you pay for it. Common ones: a custom object where a single property would do, an AI agent sitting on records nobody trusts, a move off a heavily customised enterprise CRM that would cost more than it returns, or a sixth dashboard for a team that reads none of the first five. Saying no costs us scope. It saves you a portal nobody can maintain.

Can you switch HubSpot partners?

Yes, at any time. The portal and the data in it belong to you, and the partner relationship is a setting in your account. Some of our clients came to us on their second or third partner.

Two of those are public. Renaissance Retirement Living was paying four agencies to look after one HubSpot portal. Each did its own part, and nobody joined the parts up, so no sale could be traced back to the campaign that produced it. With one partner across all four hubs, $8,000 of Google Ads spend is now followed through to $8.2 million of pipeline. Chief Executive Women had a partner looking after its marketing and website, and nobody looking after the CRM where the members actually sat. Membership numbers were estimates. They now run one record per member, and renewals are billed on a schedule.

A switch story, anonymised

A global health technology company with a small sales team came to us with a HubSpot portal its last partner had built. In their words, the agencies before us “didn’t really fix the root problems.” Every action had its own workflow, so nobody could follow a process from start to finish. A new enquiry arrived with around 50 properties already on the record. A second lead source field sat next to HubSpot’s own, and the two disagreed. And the routing sent enquiries to the wrong sales team.

We did not touch the portal until three workshops were done: how it works today, how it should work, and a blueprint both sides signed off. The blueprint set out what to fix first: routing that sends each enquiry to the right team, one lead source field, and new enquiries held as leads until they are worth a deal.

What to ask for when you leave a partner

  • Super admin access in your own name, and every other user’s access reviewed.
  • A list of every integration and private app, with who owns the account behind each one. A connector set up on the old partner’s login stops working when they remove it.
  • Notes on any custom code: workflow code actions, serverless functions and theme code, and where the source sits.
  • The reasons behind the build: why a pipeline has the stages it has, and which workflows are switched off on purpose.

If the outgoing partner cannot provide those, budget for an inventory at the start of the next project. That is the first phase of every implementation we run on a portal that is already live.

How do you choose a HubSpot partner in Australia?

Shortlist three from the HubSpot Solutions Directory, then ask each the same eight questions. The answers sort them faster than any proposal will.

Our own checklist, written from the partner switches we have picked up. The red flags are things we have seen in other partners’ portals.

What do the HubSpot partner tiers mean?

HubSpot ranks its Solutions Partners in four tiers, from entry to top: Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Elite. The tier reflects how much HubSpot business a partner manages, how many certifications its team holds and how long its clients stay. It tells you about scale and track record. It does not tell you who will be inside your portal.

HubSpot sets the tier criteria and changes them from time to time. Check the current rules on HubSpot’s how partner tiers work page, and filter Australian partners by tier in the Solutions Directory. Last checked October 2026.
TierWhat it tells youWhat to ask before you sign
GoldCertified and actively running HubSpot projects. Often a smaller agency or a specialist consultant.Has the team done a project your size, especially a migration from another CRM?
PlatinumA real client base and broader certifications across the team. How much of the agency’s work is HubSpot, and how much is other services?
DiamondA large book of managed clients, strong retention and work across several hubs.Who works on your account day to day, and how often you see a senior person.
EliteHubSpot’s top tier, held by a small number of large agencies worldwide. Will a mid-sized Australian business get senior attention, in your timezone?

Is Elite better than Diamond? For a global enterprise rolling HubSpot out across regions, the size behind an Elite badge can matter. For a business of 20 to 200 people, the tier matters less than the person. A Gold specialist who builds the portal themselves can beat a large agency that hands you to a junior. Tier by tier, the longer read is HubSpot partners in Australia: the tiers explained.

How much does a HubSpot partner cost in Australia?

Our implementations start from about $7,000, plus the HubSpot licence. That buys a guided build of one or two hubs over four to six weeks. A full build with a migration and integrations takes eight to twelve weeks, and we price it once we have seen your portal and a sample of your data.

For context, on our reading of published Australian partner pricing, a partner-led build at a business of about 100 people runs from around $8,000 to $15,000 for one hub, $15,000 to $35,000 with a real migration and two or three integrations, and $35,000 and up for a full revenue build. Our guide to what a HubSpot build costs a 100 person Australian business explains each band.

HubSpot’s own one-off onboarding fees, published in US dollars on its onboarding services page and shown here as approximate AUD conversions. They are charged by HubSpot, separate from any partner fee. Last checked October 2026.

What is it like working with Neighbourhood?

One person from scoping to support. After a first call with Matt, your PM runs three workshops of about two hours each, mapped on a shared board: how the work runs today, how it should run, and the blueprint you sign off. Then the build runs in two-week sprints, with something to look at in your portal at the end of each one. Training is run by certified HubSpot trainers, and we go live with two or three people who test it before the whole team moves.

Who you deal with at Neighbourhood, start to finish Five steps left to right: a first call with Matt, then one PM scopes the work, the same PM builds the portal, certified HubSpot trainers train your team, and support comes from someone who knows the portal. Is there a HubSpot partner in Brisbane?

Yes. Our office is at Level 2, Suite 2B, 130 Commercial Road, Teneriffe QLD 4005. Call 1300 71 61 41 in business hours, or come in.

Brisbane clients we have built for include Renaissance Retirement Living at Victoria Point and LDK Healthcare. We also run Brisbane’s official HubSpot User Group. It is a room full of local HubSpot users comparing portals, and a good place to meet people who use the platform before you pick any partner, including us.

Working across Australia and New Zealand

The crew is in Brisbane and the clients are across both countries. There is no second office. Brisbane stays on AEST all year, so a 9am meeting here lands at a different hour depending on the city and the season:

What 9am in Brisbane is elsewhere. Daylight saving starts and ends on slightly different dates in Australia and New Zealand, so for a week or two each spring and autumn only one side has changed.

HubSpot partnership

We are a HubSpot Diamond Partner and we have been building on the platform for more than a decade, across every Hub.

In practice, that gives you three things:

  • A team that has already solved it. Whatever your portal is doing, we have almost certainly seen it before.
  • A direct line into HubSpot. For the times something is genuinely broken rather than misconfigured.
  • Enough time on the platform to know its edges. Which parts to trust, and which to build over.

17 HubSpot Impact Awards sit behind those three, including Technical Expertise, Platform Excellence, Platform Migration Excellence and Product Excellence. Each one is a real client’s system, with the figures attached. We are also Certified HubSpot Trainers, and we run Brisbane’s official HubSpot User Group.

What people ask before they pick a partner.

Are you a HubSpot partner in Australia?

Yes. Neighbourhood is a HubSpot Diamond Partner based in Teneriffe, Brisbane. We have been a HubSpot partner since 2015 and Diamond since 2019, and the team works with businesses across Australia and New Zealand on AEST.

Who is the #1 HubSpot partner in Australia?

We say we are, and this is the basis: Neighbourhood holds 17 HubSpot Impact Awards, more than any other Diamond partner in Australia, and the most HubSpot Impact Awards of any APAC partner. Ask any partner who makes a #1 claim what it rests on.

What are the different tiers of the HubSpot Partner Program?

Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Elite, from entry to top. HubSpot sets the tier from how much HubSpot business a partner manages, the certifications across its team and how long its clients stay. It tells you about scale. It does not tell you who will work on your portal.

Is a HubSpot Elite partner better than a Diamond partner?

Not for every business. Elite reflects size, which can matter for a global enterprise rollout. For a business of 20 to 200 people, who builds your portal and whether they were on the scoping call matter more than the badge.

How much does a HubSpot partner cost in Australia?

Our implementations start from about $7,000, plus the HubSpot licence, for a guided build of one or two hubs. On our reading of published Australian partner pricing, a partner-led build at a business of about 100 people runs from around $8,000 for one hub to $35,000 and up for a full revenue build.

Can a HubSpot partner waive the onboarding fee?

A HubSpot Solutions Partner can deliver onboarding in place of HubSpot’s own onboarding fee, so compare quotes with that in mind. HubSpot charges about A$2,160 for Sales or Service Hub Professional, A$4,320 for Marketing Hub Professional and up to A$10,080 at Enterprise.

Do I need a HubSpot partner?

Not always. A small team on Starter with one pipeline and no integrations can set HubSpot up with HubSpot Academy’s free courses. A partner earns its fee when there is a migration, more than one team, an integration, or nobody inside the business with time to own the build.

How do I check a HubSpot partner’s tier?

Look the partner up in HubSpot’s Solutions Directory. Each profile shows the tier, and you can filter by country and tier. Then ask for a case study at your size, because the tier will not tell you that.

Can I change HubSpot partners?

Yes, at any time. The portal and data are yours. Before you leave, get super admin access in your own name, a list of every integration and who owns the account behind it, and notes on any custom code.

Who runs the HubSpot User Group in Brisbane?

We do. Neighbourhood runs Brisbane’s official HubSpot User Group. Come along before you pick a partner, including us, and you will hear how local teams use the platform. Ask us for the next date.

Is a HubSpot agency different from a HubSpot partner?

Agency is the kind of company. Partner is the relationship with HubSpot, and it comes with a tier. Plenty of agencies work in HubSpot without being partners. We are both: a Brisbane agency, and a HubSpot partner since 2015.

Do you work with businesses outside Brisbane?

Yes. Most of our clients are elsewhere in Australia or in New Zealand. Workshops and training run over video on AEST, and the crew can travel for a kick-off when it helps.
