How much does HubSpot cost in Australia in 2026?
Sales and Service Hub Professional are A$140 a seat a month paid annually, Marketing Hub Professional starts at A$1,241, all plus GST. An 80 person business lands around A$57,000 a year before GST.
HubSpot's Australian price list, checked on 16 October 2026, puts Sales Hub and Service Hub Professional at A$140 per seat per month paid annually (A$155 if you pay monthly), and Enterprise at A$240 per seat. Marketing Hub Professional starts at A$1,241 a month paid annually, with 3 Core Seats and 2,000 marketing contacts included. Marketing Hub Enterprise starts at A$5,580 a month. Starter is advertised from A$11 per seat for new customers on a limited-time offer, against a listed A$31.
All of those prices exclude GST. HubSpot's terms say its fees are exclusive of taxes, and Australian customers contract with HubSpot Australia Pty Ltd, so add 10% to every figure on the pricing page. If your business is registered for GST you can usually claim it back as a credit, but your cash flow still has to carry it.
For a typical 80 person business with 12 salespeople, 6 service staff and marketing on Professional, the licences come to about A$57,000 a year before GST, or about A$62,700 including it, on top of a one-time onboarding fee. The worked example below shows the maths. The other 55 staff can use free view-only seats.
What are the HubSpot prices in AUD right now?
These are the list prices on HubSpot's Australian pricing pages, set to AUD, on 16 October 2026. "Annual" means paid up front for the year. "Monthly" means you pay each month but on Professional you still commit to a year.
| Product | Starter | Professional (annual / monthly) | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sales Hub, per Sales Seat | A$11 offer, A$31 listed, per seat | A$140 / A$155 | A$240 |
| Service Hub, per Service Seat | A$11 offer, A$31 listed, per seat | A$140 / A$155 | A$240 |
| Marketing Hub, per account | A$11 offer, A$31 listed, per seat, 1,000 contacts | A$1,241 / A$1,380, 3 Core Seats, 2,000 contacts | A$5,580, 5 Core Seats, 10,000 contacts |
| Additional Core Seat | Starter is priced per seat | From A$72 | From A$120 |
| HubSpot Credits included each month | 500 | 3,000 | 5,000 |
Starter is also sold as a bundle of every hub at the Starter level, which HubSpot calls the Starter Customer Platform, at the same per seat price. Professional and Enterprise Customer Platform bundles go through HubSpot's sales team, so get a written quote if you are weighing a bundle against buying hubs one at a time.
Which seats do you actually need?
This is the question buyers ask us most, and it is where most of the money is. HubSpot has four seat types that matter here:
- Sales Seat. Full Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise. HubSpot's catalog says it also includes Core Seat access, so a rep does not need a second seat. Give one to anyone who works deals, sends sequences or uses the sales tools every day.
- Service Seat. Full Service Hub Professional or Enterprise, also including Core Seat access. Give one to anyone who works tickets in the help desk.
- Core Seat. Access to the core tools of whatever you have bought: editing records, building lists, running reports. Core Seats are priced at the highest edition anywhere in your account, so one Enterprise hub makes every extra Core Seat A$120 instead of A$72.
- View-only Seat. Free on every plan. These users can view records, dashboards and reports, and log notes on records, but cannot edit records, save reports or change settings.
The trap is giving every person a paid seat because they might need it. One bookkeeping firm we spoke with priced Service Seats for all 35 staff and got to about $65,000 a year, which matches 35 seats at the monthly rate of A$155. They called it "not viable". The usual fix is working out which of those 35 people actually answer tickets, and putting the rest on view-only seats or no seat at all.
A good rule: a paid seat for anyone who works records all day, a Core Seat for managers and ops people who edit but do not sell or answer tickets, and view-only for leadership and finance who only read the reporting dashboard.
Our worked example, using HubSpot's seat definitions from its Product and Services Catalog and knowledge base.
Worked example: an 80 person business
Here is the licence bill for a typical 80 person Australian business: 12 salespeople, 6 service staff, a marketing team of 3, and 4 people in ops and management who need to edit records. Everyone else is on view-only. Marketing has 12,000 marketing contacts. All figures use HubSpot's AUD list prices on 16 October 2026, paid annually.
| Line | Maths | Per month, ex GST |
|---|---|---|
| Sales Hub Professional | 12 Sales Seats x A$140 | A$1,680 |
| Service Hub Professional | 6 Service Seats x A$140 | A$840 |
| Marketing Hub Professional | Includes 3 Core Seats and 2,000 contacts | A$1,241 |
| Extra marketing contacts | 10,000 more, in two blocks of 5,000 at A$351 | A$702 |
| Extra Core Seats | 4 x A$72 | A$288 |
| View-only Seats | About 55 people x A$0 | A$0 |
| Total | A$4,751 |
Estimate, list prices, before any HubSpot offer: A$4,751 x 12 = A$57,012 a year ex GST. GST at 10% adds A$5,701.20, so the invoice total is A$62,713.20 a year including GST. Add the one-time Marketing Hub onboarding fee, which HubSpot quotes at purchase.
Pay monthly instead and the same lines cost more. Using HubSpot's monthly rates (A$155 per seat, A$1,380 for Marketing Hub, A$390 per 5,000 contacts) and keeping the Core Seats at A$72, the total is A$5,238 a month, or about A$5,800 a year more than paying annually.
Our worked example, using HubSpot's AUD list prices on 16 October 2026, ex GST. Over a year the gap is about A$5,800.
Your number will move with three things: how many people really need a paid seat, how many marketing contacts you keep, and whether anything in the account is Enterprise. Our post on what a HubSpot build costs a 100 person Australian business covers the setup work, which is a separate budget line from these licences.
Which seats and tier does your team actually need?
We can map every person to the right seat with you and show what that does to the bill.
The traps that push the bill up
- The onboarding fee. HubSpot's pricing FAQ says that when you buy Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise you are "automatically charged for onboarding". It is a one-time fee in the first year and the amount is not on the AUD pricing page, so ask for it on the quote. HubSpot does not publish the same rule for Sales Hub or Service Hub, so ask about those too.
- Marketing contact tiers. Only contacts set as marketing contacts count. Go over your tier and HubSpot's knowledge base says the upgrade happens automatically and "cannot be prevented once the limit is exceeded", and you pay the higher tier until renewal. You can only drop back down at renewal. One business we spoke with had 120,000 contacts and was well past its Professional limit. If most of your contacts never get a marketing email, set them as non-marketing contacts. HubSpot stores those free, up to 15 million contacts in total.
- Buying Starter for a job it cannot do. Marketing Hub Starter allows up to 10 automated actions in email automation. Multi-step nurture across email and other channels is a Professional feature, with up to 300 workflows. A Starter customer we spoke with found this out after buying. If nurture is the reason you want HubSpot, price Professional.
- Enterprise-only features. A standard sandbox account, a copy of your portal for testing changes before they go live, needs an Enterprise subscription. Another buyer needed a sandbox, which meant Enterprise pricing for that hub, and Enterprise Core Seats across the account.
- The annual commitment. Professional is a yearly commitment even if you pay monthly. HubSpot's terms say you cannot downgrade during your current term, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn auto-renewal off before the term ends.
- Price rises at renewal. HubSpot's terms allow it to raise your fees at renewal up to its then-current list price, with at least 30 days' notice. If you bought on a new customer offer, such as the A$11 Starter price, budget for list price in year two.
How do HubSpot Credits change the cost?
HubSpot Credits pay for AI agents and some features when they run. Professional plans include 3,000 credits a month and Enterprise 5,000. Credits reset every month and unused ones do not roll over. If you buy several hubs you get the highest single allowance, so the included credits do not add up across products.
Extra credits are listed at $0.010 each, which is the rate in HubSpot's USD catalog. You can buy capacity packs or turn on pay-as-you-go. Watch the packs: HubSpot's catalog says that if usage goes over your limit, the account is automatically upgraded for the rest of the term. Set spend limits on each agent before you switch it on. Our post on what HubSpot's AI agents cost to run in Australian dollars works through real credit usage, and Breeze credits or your own API key compares the two ways of paying for AI.
Can a partner help with HubSpot licensing?
Sometimes. A HubSpot partner can work out the seat map with you, check the quote line by line, and make sure the tier matches what you plan to build. We will not promise a discount, because HubSpot sets the price and runs its own offers. What we can do is stop you paying for seats nobody uses, a tier you do not need yet, or a contact tier you blew through by accident.
If you are still deciding which hubs you need at all, our guide to what Service Hub does and who it is for is a good place to start for the service side.
