Working predominantly with one of our digital account managers you'll ride shotgun on multiple projects, for a bunch of different clients. We are a Platinum Hubspot Partner Agency (think fancy marketing software), so we are going to give you all the training and certifications along with the internship, so you can pop out the other side knowing how to use all the bells and whistles, but also be able to walk the walk and effectively implement digital strategies using the platform.
Ideally, you'll be a new graduate who's got a little training, a little experience and whole tonne of eagerness. Like, possibly too much eagerness.
A little about us first though...
At Neighbourhood, we like to think that the most valuable trait a person can have is curiosity. We're problem solvers, we like to find out how things work (sometimes by breaking them first) and create marketing, sales and customer service journeys that are personalised, human and real.
We think that being stuck in a quiet cubicle is the worst possible type of workplace, so we've tried hard to make ours pretty excellent. If you like dogs, then you'll love Teddy, the office french bulldog, though expect him to be begging you to throw his ball pretty consistently. If you've got a weird spotify playlist you want to throw on then go nuts, we won't judge... much.

This position is for 12 weeks and is unpaid, though you'll leave with a boatload of certifications, knowledge of how a marketing agency runs and the software we use, and some legit, on-the-ground experience. We're also not averse to the occasional cold one after a long day, so expect a few opportunities to kick it with the team during your stay in the 'hood.
So what is it we need you to do?
As part of an agile, fast-growing team, you'll be in constant communication with the creative team, account managers & be present at client meetings. We have a tried and tested 12-week internship course, in which you will need to report back to the team on what you learn, as you learn it.
A degree in marketing, advertising or even writing
Ambition, a desire to do the best you can on every project that comes your way.
Ideally, some experience with Hubspot, Databox, Accelo, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics etc.
The ability to think on the move and respond to continuously changing processes.
Ability to think creatively & bring innovative solutions to digital marketing challenges
Exceptional communication, organizational and writing skills
An easy going attitude - marketing is fun, we want you to embrace that
A good-natured sense of humour, because the jokes and memes flow thick and fast here.
